Participants are needed for a research study of food patterns and eating experiences of autistic adults.
Autism can present unique situations in the daily life of families, depending on the needs of their child. For the most part, families are able to adapt and rework their routines for a happy, healthy child. However, a family with an autistic child still may experience daily challenges associated with the diagnosis.
Our "Teaching Autistic Students Cheat Sheet" is a concise list of research-backed teaching methods that can be viewed and shared electronically, or printed out. The document can be used by anyone - parents, educators, therapists, other service providers - to quickly gain a core set of methods for teaching autistic students.
In this international showcase of musical ability, young artists from Japan, Mexico, and the United States (Santa Clara, CA), come together to share their love of music and song. In the first act experience the superb piano tones of artists previously featured in the International Piano Festival by People with Disabilities. In the second act rock out to the music of the award-winning Magic Makers Ensemble, which brings developmentally challenged students from the Bay Area together every week to grow, gain strength, share joy, and have a Rocking Good Time!
