Our neighbors at the Sacramento Region Community Foundation have announced the launch of their 2017 scholarship season. Each scholarship fund has its own unique criteria for selecting recipients, including academic achievement, financial need, location, educational and career goals, community involvement and ethnic background. In 2016, the Sacramento Region Community Foundation awarded 365 scholarships totaling over $870 thousand to eligible students. Annual scholarship awards range from $500 to $7,000 and may be used for tuition, fees, and educational expenses at accredited academic colleges or universities and vocational training programs.
