California Court Rules Kids can be Taken from Good Parents

A court decision came down a few days ago that, in simple summary, means that a child, including a child with a mental diagnosis, that has significant behavior issues that have yet to be managed can be removed, including permanently, from parental custody by child protective service agencies, even if the parents are highly competent and have not engaged in any wrongful conduct.

A good article on the matter can be read here.

Parents that have a child with significant behavior issues and that want to mitigate the chances of losing custody of the child should take immediate action. Contact SASSNA for assistance.
